My name is Coy Adkins. As a young person, I developed a passion for classic cars because of the exposure I got to them by being Ronnie Adkins’ son.

I have always enjoyed cars, car events, car races, and honestly just the people and culture that share my passion.

I am both humbled and excited to announce that our little company, KAHR Motorsports, will be presenting a major car event in the beautiful mountain/lake area of Hiawassee, Georgia each year the Thursday through Saturday following Father’s Day in June. The event is called the Hiawassee Rod Run. Many people are involved with this great show. The production of the show would not be possible without my wife, Austin, my kids, Kenna, Anniston, Hayden and Rayna, my parents, Ronnie and Kennese, my sister April, and family friends, Jon and Nichole Skipper.

I would also like to thank Lamar and Christie Gregory with Flatwood Customs for being our title sponsor, Greg and Christy Spann with the Wyatt’s Rides Foundation for being our official judges, and Charles Bryson from the Cherokee Rodders for being our 1st class announcer.

And finally, Hilda Thomason and her staff at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds provide the absolute best outdoor car show venue there is.
